Based off of Cirque Du Soleil's show Alegría, I redesigned a vinyl record of the show's 1994 album. I also photographed the images used in this project.
Alegría, the Italian and Spanish word for joy, is about the power struggle between classes, the weight of the powerless, and the abuse of power. These themes were inspired by the real-life, horrific murder of James Bulger that happened during the creative process of the show.
